Homeowner and Owner Marketplace In Testing

Post a project. Contractors who cover your area bid on it.

Whether it’s a kitchen remodel or a 50-unit residential block, post your scope, drawings, and photos in five minutes. This is in testing. Today a posted project reaches no contractor: contractors can’t set their service area yet, and they can’t browse open posts. The app tells you that before you post. Once it’s live, MAGE ID alerts contractors whose service area covers your project and shows you how many it reached. You pick a winner, they get a project in their MAGE ID account with your details, and they send you the link to your project portal.

How it works.

Four steps. Your post shows how many contractors it reached, so you’re never left guessing.

①

Post your project

Title, scope, address, budget range, photos of the property, optional drawings or sketches.

②

Contractors who cover your area are alerted

In Testing Once contractors can set their service area, MAGE ID alerts the ones who cover your project, and your post shows how many it reached. Contractors can’t browse open posts yet either, so today a post reaches no one, and it says so.

③

Review bids side-by-side

Every bid in one place. Shortlist favorites and compare them side-by-side.

④

Award — the contractor sends your portal link

One tap to award. The contractor gets a project in their MAGE ID account with what you posted and your contact details. Once they’ve set up your project portal — messaging, change orders, invoices, photos, daily reports — they send you the link.

For homeowners and project owners.

No cold calls. No "I’ll text you next week." No mystery quotes. Skip the contractor lottery and pick from contractors who’ve actually seen your scope.

  • Post in minutes — drawings, photos, budget, desired start date
  • At least one photo of the property is required — it keeps troll posts off
  • Bids land in a single dashboard — sort by price, recency, or shortlist
  • Award the winner — they set up your project portal and send you the link
  • Free to post
Posting a project, step one, with the notice that contractor matching is not live yet

For contractors: real leads, no scraping.

In Testing MAGE ID will alert contractors whose service area covers a homeowner’s project. Service-area setup is coming. It isn’t live yet, and neither is browsing open posts, so today posts won’t reach you. When one does, you can bid on it or request a site visit before quoting if you can’t price it sight-unseen.

  • Real homeowner posts, with photos and scope — not scraped listings
  • Alerts for projects in your service area, once service-area setup is available
  • Submit estimate or request a site visit first — your call
  • Win the bid? The project is created in your MAGE ID account with the homeowner’s drawings, photos, scope and contact details — you set up their portal and send them the link
  • Free to bid — we make money when you upgrade for the rest of the OS

Built so the right people show up.

Spam and trolls kill marketplaces. We design against them.

Address verification

Every post is geocoded. Bad addresses get flagged before contractors waste time.

Photo-required posts

At least one photo of the property. You’ve been there. The bots haven’t.

Contractor profiles

Contractors can show their license number and a portfolio of completed jobs on a public profile.

No fees on award

Money flows direct between you and your contractor. We don’t take a cut of project value.

The award starts the project.

Most platforms hand you a phone number and disappear. When you award on MAGE ID:

  • The contractor is notified
  • A new project is created in their MAGE ID account — drawings, photos, scope, your contact details and the awarded price carried over
  • They set up your client portal — messaging, document exchange, change-order approvals, progress photos — and send you the link
  • Other bidders are politely declined automatically
  • Your project is now in flight — not in a long email thread

Stop calling around. Post your project.
