See it in motion

See how MAGE ID actually works.

90 seconds for the gist. 15 minutes for the full tour. Short how-to clips for every feature. Or jump on a live 30-minute demo and we'll run it on your own plan set.

90 SECONDS
The 90-second tour
From plan upload to a sent estimate, in less time than your morning coffee.

The full walkthrough.

15 minutes of an actual project, end to end — plan upload, AI takeoff, spec book match, sub-trade buyout, schedule, AIA pay app, client portal. The rest of this page breaks each piece into its own short clip.

15:00
Full product demo
One project, every feature. Watch this if you want the complete picture before signing up.

Tutorial library.

Short clips, one feature each. Use these when a contractor on your team gets stuck, or to drop into a Slack thread when training a new estimator.

3:42
AI takeoff

Drop in a PDF, get LF / SF / EA quantities

Upload a residential plan set. Watch the AI categorize walls, doors, windows, finishes, and fixtures. Edit a row. See where the number came from.

2:30
Spec book matcher

Pair PT-1 with the actual paint product

Upload the architect's spec PDF. The AI maps every callout code to manufacturer + product + finish + SKU. Unmatched codes flagged for RFI.

3:10
Sub-trade buyout

One tap. Eight to twelve buyout packages.

Turn the takeoff into draft buyout packages with auto-written scope text. Send to subs without leaving the app.

2:50
AI drawing analyzer

Plans → priced starting estimate

Different from takeoff. The AI returns a priced CSI-organized estimate with reasoning + a list of concerns — what the AI doesn't know, what to RFI.

4:00
AIA progress billing

G702 + G703 generated in two minutes

The bank-formatted pay app for institutional and HNW projects. Add line completion %, retention, prior pay apps. Send the PDF.

2:20
Daily field reports

Voice it in. AI structures it.

Tap the mic, talk for 30 seconds about your day. AI fills the manpower count, weather, work performed, incidents. You review and ship.

3:00
Client portal

What the homeowner sees

Live updates, change orders for approval, photos, schedule, the open-book budget if you toggle it on. Six languages. Passcode-protected.

2:15
Sub portal

Subs upload invoices, you get notified

One private link per sub. They drop invoices, COIs, lien waivers. AI extracts the data. You approve and pay.

3:30
Scheduling

AI draft a Gantt from your estimate

Estimate → Auto-Schedule. Phase Gantt with critical path. Weather risk overlaid. Drag a task, dependents update.

2:45
Cash flow forecaster

12 weeks ahead. Across all your jobs.

Sees your invoices, AIA pay apps, sub commitments, payroll, overhead. Tells you which Friday you're short on cash.

1:50
Field verification

Snap a photo. Verify the AI.

On site, tap any takeoff row. Snap a photo, GPS attaches, type what you measured. AI vs. field delta in green / yellow / red.

1:40
Voice everywhere

Universal mic for RFI, CO, Punch, Invoice

Tap the floating mic. Speak. AI structures it as the right form. No typing on the jobsite. Hands-free DFR.

Get unstuck.

Frequently asked.

If we missed yours, the support page has a longer list.

How accurate is the AI takeoff?
Accuracy depends on the drawing. Clean architectural sets with visible dimensions and schedules return high-confidence numbers on most rooms, walls, doors, and windows. Hand-sketched plans or scans without dimension strings get medium-to-low confidence and the AI flags them in the Concerns section. Every quantity is editable. We publish per-category accuracy from anonymized corrections data and the Corrections panel on every project shows you exactly where the AI was off — so you can spot patterns before bidding.
What types of plans does it work on?
Architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, RCPs, schedules (door / window / finish / wall), MEP plans, and site plans. Single-family and multi-family residential are the primary target. Light commercial works. Heavy industrial / structural with deep MEP coordination is on the roadmap.
Can I export quantities to Excel?
Today CSV and PDF export are supported. Native Excel with formulas is on the near roadmap. If you need it before we ship, the CSV opens cleanly in Excel and Google Sheets.
Does it run offline?
The takeoff itself needs cloud AI to run. But once the takeoff lands on your phone, you can view, edit, and capture field-verification photos offline — everything queues and syncs the moment you're back on signal. Daily reports, change orders, punch items, photos, voice captures all work fully offline.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Read-only access to everything you've created stays available for 90 days after cancel. Full export of all projects, estimates, photos, daily reports, and PDFs at any time, no cancellation required.
Is there a free trial?
Free tier with up to 2 projects, no time limit. Pro and Business unlock everything else — sign up in the App Store, cancel anytime.
Do you integrate with QuickBooks?
On the roadmap for Q3 2026. Today MAGE ID handles the entire invoice / change-order / AIA pay-app flow in-app, and exports a clean CSV for your bookkeeper. If QuickBooks sync is a hard blocker for switching, let us know — demand drives priority.
Do you have an Android app?
Yes. iOS, Android, and web all share the same codebase. Sign in once, use any of them.
What's the price?
Pro is $29/month or $348/year. Business is $79/month or $948/year. Both replace a stack of point tools that typically runs $400–$700/month. See the full breakdown on the vs. Software page.
