Is MAGE ID cheaper than Buildertrend?
We cannot tell you what Buildertrend will quote you, so we do not answer yes or no. MAGE ID publishes a flat $29–$79/mo with no per-seat fees: unlimited free field seats, and two office seats on Pro, five on Business (the rule in full). Ask Buildertrend for its current price and compare the two.
Can I import my projects?
Partly, and we are specific about which parts. Your client list pastes across in minutes; contacts and subs are entered in the app. Your price book is seeded from rates you already know, stored as a claim, not a measurement, so a seeded book still reads “0 closed jobs”. Schedules import from .xlsx or MS Project XML. Historical job-cost detail from another platform does not come across, on purpose: a half-imported cost history quietly poisons the numbers your estimator learns from. Easiest path is to finish your live jobs where they are and run the next one here.
Does MAGE do scheduling like Buildertrend?
MAGE ID includes scheduling, plus Last Planner pull planning (with weather-aware reflow shipped). Check Buildertrend’s own site for what its scheduling includes.
